56:2  there is no (Lai'sa) denial (Kaaziba') for (Li) its occurrence (Waq'äti-haa).

56:3  It will be lowering (Khaafidotun) and lifting (Raafiä'),

56:4  then (Izaa) the earth (El'Ar'du) will quake (Rujjati) with convulsion (Rajjaa),

56:5  and (Wa) the mountains (El'Jibaalu) will crush (Bussati) by crushing (Bassaa)

56:6  and (Fa) become (Kaanat') dispersed (Munbatthaa) dust particles (Habaa'an).

56:7  And (Wa) you (p) will be (Kuntum') in three (Thalaatha') kinds (Az'waajan);

56:8  Then (Fa) the companions (As'haabu) of the right (El'Mai'manati); those (Maa) will be the Companions of the right side (As'haabul' Mai'mana').

56:9  And (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of the left (El'Mash'amati); those (Maa) will be the Companions of the left side (As'haabul' Mash'ama')?

56:10  As for (Wa) the first (Es'Saabiquuna) of the forerunners (Es'Saabiquun);

56:11  those (U'laaika) will be the nearby ones (El'Muqarrabuun)

56:12  in (Fii) the Gardens of Bliss (Jannaati En'Naeem),

56:13  a group (Thullatun) from (Mina) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin)

56:14  and (Wa) a few (Qaliilun) from (Mina) the later generations (El'Aakhiriin),

56:15  on (Älaa) decorated (Maw'duuna') couches (Sururin),

56:16  resting (Muttaki'iina) on them (Älai'ha), facing each other (Mutaqaabiliin).

56:17  Immortal (Mukhalladuun) children (Wil'daanun) will circulate (Yatuufu) around them (Älai'him)

56:18  with (Bi) drinking glasses (Ak'waabin), pitchers (Abaariiqa) and (Wa) cups (Ka'sin) of (Min) spring water (Maeen).

56:19  There will be no (Laa) headache (Yusoddauuna) therefrom (Än'haa), nor (Walaa) will they bleed (Yunzifuun),

56:20  and (Wa) fruits (Faakihatin) of whatever (Mimmaa) they prefer (Yatakhayyaruun),

56:21  and (Wa) the meat (Lah'mi) of bird (Toi'rin), from whatever (Mimmaa) they desire (Yash'tahuun),

56:22  and (Wa) houri (Huurun) assistants (Een) (44:54 / 52:20)

56:23  as (Ka) the likes of (Am'thaali) protected (El'Mak'nuun) pearls (Ellu'lui),

56:24  as reward (Jazaa'a) for what (Bimaa) they have (Kaanu') done (Ya'maluun).

56:25  They will not (Laa) hear (Yas'mauuna) nonsense (Lag'wan) therein (Fiiha) nor (Walaa) offence (sin) (Ta'thiimaa),

56:26  except (illa) stating (Qiilan), "Peace (Salaaman), peace (Salaamaa)."

56:27  As for (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of the right (El'Yamiini); who (Maa) are the Companions of the right side (As'haabul' Yamiin),

56:28  around (Fii) tamed (Makh'duud) lotus trees (Sid'rin),

56:29  and (Wa) arranged (Manduud) banana trees (Tol'hin),

56:30  and (Wa) extensive (Mam'duud) shelter (Zillin),

56:31  and (Wa) flowing (Mas'kuub) water (Maa'in),

56:32  and (Wa) much (Kathiiratin) fruit (Faakihatin),

56:33  neither (Laa) ceases (Maq'tuu'ätin) nor (Walaa) gets prohibited (Mam'nuuä’),

56:34  and (Wa) elevated (Mar'fuu'ätin) beds (Furushin).

56:35  Indeed (Innaa), We will compose them (f) (Ansha'naa-hunna) by composition (Inshaa'a)

56:36  and (Fa) render them (Jaäl'naa-hunna) virgins (Ab'kaaraa),

56:37  as suggested (Uruban) mates (At'raabaa)

56:38  for (Li) the Companions (As'haabi) of the right side (El'Yamiin);

56:39  a group (Thullatun) from (Mina) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin),

56:40  and (Wa) another group (Thullatun) from (Mina) the later generations (El'Aakhiriin).

56:41  As for (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of the left (Es'Shimaali); who (Maa) are the Companions (As'haabu) of the left side (Es'Shimaal)

56:42  in (Fii) hot flame (Samuumin) and (Wa) magma (Hamiim),

56:43  and (Wa) a shelter (Zillin) of (Min) heat (Yah'muum),

56:44  neither (Laa) cool (Baaridin) nor (Walaa) hospitable (Kariim).

56:45  Indeed, they (Innahum') were (Kaanu') wealthy (Mut'rafiin) before (Qab'la) that (Zaalika),

56:46  and (Wa) they used to (Kaanu') persist (Yusirruuna) in (Älaa) a terrible (El'Äziim) perjury (El'Hinthi),

56:47  and (Wa) they used to (Kaanu') say (Yaquuluuna), "When (A’izaa) we die (Mit'naa) and become (Kunnaa) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman), are (A-) we indeed (-innaa) to (La) be resurrected (Mab'uuthuun)?

56:48  "Also (Awa) our forefathers (Aabaau-naal' Awwaluun)?"

56:49  Say (Qul'): "Indeed (Inna), the predecessors (El'Awwaliina) and (Wa) the later generations (El'Aakhiriin)

56:50  will be (La) gathered (Maj'muu'uuna) for (ilaa) an appointed time (26:38) (Miiqaati) of a well-known (Ma'luum) day (Yaw'min)."

56:51  Then (Thumma) indeed, you (p) (Innakum')! O (Ayyuha) misguided (Ed'Doalluuna) deniers (El'Mukazibuun)

56:52  will (La) eat (Akiluuna) from (Min) the tree (Shajarin) of (Min) bitterness (Zaquum), (37:62)

56:53  and (Fa) filling (Maaliuuna) the bellies (El'Butuun) therefrom (Min'haa)

56:54  and (Fa) drinking (Shaaribuuna) on top of it (Älai'hi) from (Mina) magma (El'Hamiim),

56:55  but (Fa) they will drink (Shaaribuuna) the drink (Shur'ba) of thirst (El'Hiim).

56:56  That (Haaza) is their lodging (Nuzulu-hum') on the Day of Judgement (Yaw'ma-d'Diin).

56:57  We (Nah'nu) created you (p) (Khalaq'naa-kum'), so (Fa) why (Law') do you not (Laa) believe (Tusoddiquun)?

56:58  So (Afa-) have you seen (-ra'ai'tum) that which (Maa) you wish for (Tum'nuun)?

56:59  Are (A-) you (-antum') its creators (Takh'luquunahu), or (Am') are We (Nah'nu) the Creators (El'Khaaliquun)?

56:60  We (Nah'nu) have predestined (Qaddar'naa) death (El'Maw'ta) among you (Bai'nakumu), and (Wa) We (Nah'nu) cannot (Maa Bi) be outdone (Mas'buuqiin)

56:61  through (Älaa) that (An) We will change (Nubaddila) your likenesses (Am'thaala-kum') and (Wa) establish you (p) (Nunshia-kum') in (Fii) what (Maa) you do not (Laa) know (Ta'lamuun).

56:62  And (Wa) you certainly (Laqad') know about (Älim'tumu) the first (El'Uulaa) origination (53:47) (En'Nash'ata), so (Fa) why do you not (Law' Laa) take heed (Tazakkaruun)?

56:63  So (Afa-) have you seen (-rai'tum) that which (Maa) you cultivate (Tah'ruthuun)?

56:64  Are (A-) you (-Antum') it planters (Taz'rauunahu), or (Am') are We (Nah'nu) the Planters (Ez'Zaari’uun)?

56:65  If (Law') We willed (Nashaau), We could (La) render it (Jaäl'naa-hu) debris (Hutoaman), then (Fa) you would remain (Zol'tum') bantering each other (Tafakkahuun),

56:66  (saying) "Indeed, we (Innaa) are (La) in loss (Mug'ramuun).

56:67  "In fact (Bal'), we (Nah'nu) have been deprived (Mah'ruumuun)."

56:68  So (Afa-) have you seen (-rai'tumu) the water (El'Maa'a) that (Ellazii) you drink (Tash'rabuun)?

56:69  Are (A-) you (-Antum') the bringers of it down (Anzal'tumuu-hu) from (Mina) the rainy clouds (El'Muz'ni), or (Am') are We (Nah'nu) the Bringers of it down (El'Munziluun)?

56:70  If (Law') We willed (Nashaau), We could render it (Jaäl'naa-hu) bitter (Ujaajan), so (Fa) why are you not (Law' Laa) grateful (Tash'kuruun)?

56:71  So (Afa-) have you seen (-rai'tumu) the fire (En'Naara) that (Ellatii) you kindle (Tuuruun)?

56:72  Did (A-) you (-antum') originate (Ansha'tum') its tree (Shajarata-haa), or (Am') are We (Nah'nu) the Originators (El'Munshiuun)?

56:73  We (Nah'nu) have made it (Jaäl'naa-ha) a reminder (Taz'kiratan) and (Wa) a provision (Mataa'än) for those in need (Lil' Muq'wiin).

56:74  So (Fa) glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) the name (Es'mi) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka), the GREAT (El' Äziim). 1

56:75  Therefore (Fa) I swear (Laa' Uq'simu) by (Bi) the positions (Mawaaqie) of the stars (En'Nujuum).

56:76  And (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) a great (Äziim) oath (Qasamun), if (Law') you should know (Ta'lamuuna).

56:77  Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) a noble (Kariim) reading (Qur'aanun)

56:78  in (Fii) a protected (Mak'nuun) book (writing) (Kitaabin);

56:79  none (Laa) will grasp it (Yamassu-hu) except (illa) the purified (El'Mutohharuun). (9:108/ 80:14/ 98:2)

56:80  A revelation (Tanziilun) from (Min) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin). (69:43)

56:81  So is it (Afa-) about (-bi) this (-haaza) discourse (El'Hadiithi) you (p) (Antum) are compromising (Mud'hinuun)?

56:82  And (Wa) you make (Taj'äluuna) your living (Riz'qa-kum’) that you (Annakum') deny (Tukazzibuun)?

56:83  So (Fa) why (Law'laa) when (Izaa) it (the soul) reaches (Balagati) the pharynx (throat) (El'Hul'quum)

56:84  and (Wa) you (p) (Antum') are at that time (Hiinaizin) looking (Tanzuruun)?

56:85  For (Wa) We (Nah'nu) are closer (Aq'rabu) to it (ilai'hi) than you (p) (Minkum'), but (Walaakin) you do not (Laa) see (Tub'siruun).

56:86  Therefore (Fa) if (In) you (p) are (Kuntum') not (Gai'ra) indebted (Madiiniin) then (Fa) why do you not (Law'laa)

56:87  retrieve it (the soul) (Tar'jiuuna-haa), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin)?

56:88  And (Fa) if (Ammaa In) he was (Kaana) of (Mina) those nearby (El'Muqarrabiin),

56:89  then (Fa) there is refreshment (Raw'hun), sweet basil (Rai'haanun) and (Wa) a garden (Jannatu) of bliss (Naeem).

56:90  And (Wa) if (Ammaa In) he was (Kaana) of (Min') the companions (As'haabi) of the right (El'Yamiin),

56:91  then (Fa), "Peace (Salaamun) be unto you (Laka) among (Min') the Companions (As'haabi) of the right side (El'Yamiin)."

56:92  But (Wa) if (Ammaa In) he was (Kaana) of (Mina) the misguided (Ed'Doalliin) deniers (El'Mukazzibiina),

56:93  then (Fa) a lodging (Nuzulun) of (Min') magma (Hamiim)

56:94  and (Wa) burning (Tas'liyatu) in Hell (Jahiim).

56:95  Indeed (Inna), this (Haaza) is (Lahuwa) the truth (Haqqu) of certainty (69:51) (El'Yaqiin).

56:96  So (Fa) glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) the name (Es'mi) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka), the GREAT (El' Äziim). 2 (SRV - 56:74, 56:96)
