Ta [Healing Qur'an], Ha [Transparent].
We did not send down upon you [O Muhammad] the Qur'an to make you suffer distress [Qur'an 20:1],
Except as a reminder for whoever fears [Allah].
A sending down from He who created the earth and the highest heavens,
The widely merciful [who] prepared, settled, turned, switched up the Throne.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and whatever is between them and whatever is beneath the soil.
And [O Muhammad] if you are speaking aloud with the word [Qur'an], so indeed, He knows the secret and the more hidden.
Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the most beautiful names.
And has the narration of Moses reached you [O Man]?
When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I may bring to you therefrom with a torch or I find over the fire a guidance [on my lost staff]."
And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses,
It is truly I. I am your Lord, so take off your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa.
And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you].
It is truly I. I am Allah. There is no deity but I, so worship Me and establish the prayers for My remembrance.
Coming of the Hour - I almost surely hidden it [Day eight, Qur'an 69:17] - so that every soul may be recompensed with what it strives [for].
So do not let one who does not believe in it and follows his desire, bar you from it, so that you may perish.
And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?"
He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I beat down leaves on my sheep and I have therein other uses."
[Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses."
So he threw it down, so actually, it was a snake [camouflaged as his lost staff, Qur'an 20:10], slithering.
[Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its camouflaged staff state.
And draw in your hand to your side; it [your hand slathered with the snake's light emitting gels, germs] will come out white without [causing any] disease, another sign,
That We may show you [O Moses, some] of Our greater signs.
Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed."
[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast
And ease for me my matter
And resolve the knot of my tongue
That they may understand, my saying.
And grant for me a minister from my family -
Aaron, my brother.
Strengthen through him my strength
And let him share in my matters
That we may exalt You much
And remember You much.
Truly [from day one], You were about us watching."
[Allah] said, "You are already granted your request, O Moses.
And certainly We had already conferred a favour upon you another time,
When We inspired to your mother what We inspired [below],
[Saying], `Cast him in the chest and cast it in the river, and the river will throw it in the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you may be modeled before My eye.
[Remember] when your sister went and said [to Pharaoh's people], `Shall I direct you [people] upon who can nurse and rear him?' So We returned you back to your mother so that she can cool her eyes and does not grieve. And you killed a human, but We saved you from the distress but We tried you with a [severe] trial, so you remained [some] years in the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] on the decreed time, O Moses.
And I modeled you for Myself.
Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance.
Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
And say to him a gentle speech that perhaps he may take heed or fear [Allah]."
They said, "Our Lord, indeed we fear that he may hasten [punishment] against us or that he may transgress."
[Allah] said, "Do not fear. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see.
So come to him and say, `Indeed, we both are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have surely come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon whoever has followed the guidance.
Indeed it has been already revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever belies [us] and turns away.' "
[Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?"
He said, "Our Lord is the one who gave every thing its creation [features] and then guided."
[Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the state of the first generations?"
[Moses] said, "Its knowledge is with my Lord in a Book. My Lord neither strays nor forgets."
[It is He] who has made for you [people] the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you pathways and sent down water from the sky then brought out thereby diverse pairs of plants.
Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that indeed are signs for possessors of intelligence.
From it [the earth, Quran Qur'an 20:53] We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will bring you out another time.
And We very truly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he belied and refused.
He said, "Did you come to us to exit us out from our land by your magic, O Moses?
So we will surely bring you about a magic like it, so make between us and between you an appointment, which we will not miss and neither will you, in a smooth place."
[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival and that the people will be assembling at mid-morning."
So Pharaoh turned away, ensemble his plan, and then came [to Moses].
Moses said to them [Pharaoh's magicians], "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will annihilate you with a punishment; and whoever invented has always failed."
So they debated their matter between themselves but they concealed their private conversation.
They said, "Indeed, these two are surely sorcerers wanting to drive you out from your land by their sorcery and do away with your way, the exemplary tradition.
So ensemble your plan then bring as per lined up [in the order of failure]. And indeed whoever overcomes today will be prosperous."
They said, "O Moses, If that you throw, but if that we become the first who throws?"
He said [to them], "No but is there! You throw." So then their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes].
So Moses felt apprehensive in himself.
Allah said, "Do not be afraid. Indeed, you will be the uppermost.
And throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they were making. Surely what they were making is only the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he may come [from]."
So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses."
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed in him before for that I gave to you permission. Indeed, he was your chief the one who has taught you the magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet of opposite sides, and I will crucify you in the trunks of palm trees, and surely you will know which of us is more severe in punishing and more lasting."
They said, "We will not affect you [Pharaoh] upon what has come to us from the proof and the one Who originated us. So decree whatever you are decreeing. You can only decree for this worldly life.
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive for us our sins and what you compelled us on it of magic [e.g., teaching, causing harm to others]? And Allah is better and more lasting."
Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal - then indeed, for him is Hell; he neither dies therein nor lives.
And whoever comes to Him as a believer having worked already the righteous deeds - then those for them will be the highest degrees [in]
Edens paradises. Beneath from them are the rivers flowing, they will live therein forever. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.
And We certainly inspired to Moses that: "Travel by night with My slaves and strike for them a dry path [an ice-bridge] through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by cold] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea [the deep frozen layer which after getting cracked, drowned them and then joined back] that which covered them [from below keeping them afloat over the water before the cracking],
And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them].
O Children of Israel, We saved you from your enemy, and then We made a covenant with you at the right side of Al-Tur [the mount], and We sent down to you manna and quails,
[Saying], "Eat from the good things that We have provided you and do not transgress [or oppress others] therein, then My anger should descend upon you. And whomever My anger descends upon he has for sure perished."
And indeed, I am indeed Forgiver for whoever repented and believed and worked righteousness and then guided.
[Allah] said, "And what hastened you from your people, O Moses?"
He said, "They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased."
[Allah] said, "But indeed, We have tested your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has strayed them."
So Moses returned to his people, angry and sorrowful. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was [the coming of the] promise too long against you, or did you wish that wrath of your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise to me?"
They said, "We did not break our promise to you by our own will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Samiri throw."
And he brought forth for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, so they said, "This is your [children of Israel's] god and Moses's god, but he has forgotten."
Did they not see that it could not return to them a saying and that it did not possess for them any harm or any benefit?
And Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], "O my people, you are only being tested in this, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my command."
They said, "We will never cease being devoted to it [the calf] until Moses returns to us."
[Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them strayed,
that you did not follow me? So have you disobeyed my command?"
[Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, `You caused division between the Children of Israel, and you did not wait my say.' "
[Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samiri?"
He said, "I saw by what they did not see through, so I took a handful from the footprints of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul has lured for me."
[Moses] said, "Then go. And indeed, for you in the life to say, `No contact.' And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your `god' to which you remained on it devoted. We will surely burn it and scatter its particles in the sea.
Your god is only Allah, there is no deity except Him, the one who has encompassed all things in knowledge."
Thus, We relate upon you [O Muhammad] from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Our welcome a Reminder [the Qur'an].
Whoever turns away from it - then indeed, he will bear on the Day of Resurrection a burden,
[Abiding] therein for ever, and it is wretched for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load -
On a Day when it is blown in the trumpet. And We will gather the criminals on that Day, blue [Day].
They will be murmuring between themselves, "You remained not but ten [days]."
We are most knowing about what they say when the best learned of them [i.e., Iblees] will say, "You remained not but one day."
And they ask you on the mountains, so say [O Muhammad], "My Lord will blast them into dust.
then He will leave the earth as a level plain;
You will not see therein a crookedness or an elevation."
That Day, they will follow the caller [with] no crookedness for him, and [all] voices will be humbled for the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a faint sound.
On that Day, the intercession does not benefit, except whomever for him the Most Merciful has permitted and satisfied for his saying [of faith].
Allah knows what is between their hands and what is behind them, while they do not encompass about it a knowledge.
And the faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Establisher. And whoever carried oppression has already failed.
And whoever works of the righteous deeds while he is a believer - then he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation.
And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have resolved therein of the promises perhaps they may guard the consciousness of [Allah] or it may be for them a constant reminder.
So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before that its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
And We had already covenanted to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him a determination.
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.
Then We said, "O Adam! This [naivety of yours, Qur'an 20:115] is truly an enemy to you and to your kind. So do not let it drive you both out of Paradise so that [O Adam] you experience [a naked (humiliating) return instead of a clothed (honoured) return].
Indeed you will not be hungry herein [that you were therein on earth before] nor be unwrapped [sleepless, Qur'an 25:47, Qur'an 73:1].
And you will not suffer thirst herein [that you were therein on earth before] nor the heat of the Sun."
But Satan whispered to him, saying, “O Adam! Shall I take you upon the tree of eternity and a kingdom that does not fade away?”
And they both ate of it, and their private parts became manifest to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise [to restore the sanctity of their lineage relation, Qur'an 7:189, Qur'an 25:54]. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred.
Then his Lord chose him and turned upon him in forgiveness and guided [him].
[Allah] said, "Descend [naked instead of clothed], both of you, from here together [with Satan] as enemies to each other. Then when guidance comes to you from Me [to realize Qur'an 2:30], whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer depression.
And whoever turns away from My remembrance - then indeed, for him will be a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was seeing [in the worldly life]?"
[Allah] will say, "Thus Our verses did come to you, and you forgot them; and thus today you will be forgotten."
And thus We repay whoever crosses the limit and do not believe in the verses of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more lasting.
Then, did it not guide to them how We destroyed their previous generations as they walk in their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs for those who possess brain.
And if not for a word [Qur'an 8:33] that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [imminently], and a pre-specified term.
So be patient [O Muhammad] upon what they say and glorify your Lord with praise before the sun rises, and before its setting. And from the hours of the night, so glorify and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied.
And do not extend your eyes [O Muhammad] towards what we have enjoyed with it, pairs of them, splendour of the worldly life that We may test them thereby. And the livelihood of your Lord is better and more lasting.
And enjoin with the prayers in your family [and people] and be patient thereon. We ask you [O Muhammad] not for livelihood; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.
And they say, "If only he would bring us with a sign from his Lord?" Has there not come to them a clear sign of what was in the former books?
And if We had destroyed them with a punishment before him, they would have said, "Our Lord, before we were humiliated and disgraced, if only You had send to us a messenger so that we could have followed Your verses?"
Say, "Each [of us] is waiting; so wait. For you will know who are the companions of the smooth path and who was guided."
