61:1  Whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) gives glory (Sabbaha) to GOD (Lillahi), and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the WISE (El' Hakiim).

61:2  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), why (Lima) do you say (Taquuluuna) what (Maa) you do not (Laa) do (Taf'äluun)?

61:3  It is a major (Kabura) abhorrence (Maq'tan) in front of GOD (Endallahi) to (An) say (Taquulu') what (Maa) you do not (Laa) do (Taf'äluun).

61:4  Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) loves (Yuhibbu) those who (Ellaziina) fight (Yuqaatiluuna) in (Fii) HIS cause (Sabiili-hi) in a column (Soffaan)*, as if they (Ka'anna-hum) were a crammed (Mar'suus) structure (Bun'yaanun).

61:5  And (Wa) when (Iz') Moses (Muusaa) said to (Qaala Li) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), why (Lima) do you offend me (Tu'zuunanii) while (Wa) you already (Qad) know (Ta'lamuuna) that I am (Annii) a messenger of GOD (Rasuulu-llahi) to you (ilai'kum)?" And (Fa) when (Lamma) they turned aside (Zaaguu'), GOD (Ellahu) caused their hearts (Quluuba-hum) to deviate (3:8) (-Azaaga). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) does not (Laa) guide (Yah'dii) the immoral (El'Faasiqiin) people (El'Qaw'ma).

61:6  And (Wa) when (Iz') Jesus (Eesaa), the son (Eb'nu) of Mary (Mar'yama), said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa’iila), I am (Innii) a messenger of GOD (Rasuulu-llahi) to you (ilai'kum) confirming (Musoddiqan) what (Limaa) was before me (Bai'na Yaday'ya) of (Mina) the Torah (5:44) (Ettaw'raati) and (Wa) bringing good news (Mubasshira) of (Bi) a messenger (Rasuulin) to come (Ya'tii) after me (Min Ba'dii) whose name (Es'mu-hu) is more praiseworthy (Ah'madu)," but (Fa) when (Lamma) he brought them (Jaa'a-hum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati), they said (Qaalu'), "This (Haazaa) is clear (Mubiin) sorcery (Sih'run)."

61:7  And (Wa) who (Man') is more unjust (Az'lamu) than one who (Mimmani) invents (Ef'taraa) falsehood (El'Kaziba) about GOD (Älaallahi) while (Wa) being (Huwa) invited (Yud'ää) to (ilaa) the Submission (3:19) (El' Is'laami)? And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) does not (Laa) guide (Yah'dii) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'ma).

61:8  They intend (Yuriiduuna) to (Li) extinguish (Yut'fiu') the light of GOD (24:35) (Nuura-llahi) with (Bi) their mouths (Af'waahi-him), but (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) will complete (Mutimmu) HIS light (Nuuri-hi), even if (Law') the disbelievers (El'Kaafiruun) dislike it (Kariha).

61:9  HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) has sent (Ar'sala) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu) with (Bi) the Guidance (El'Hudaa) and (Wa) the religion of truth (Diinil' Haqqi) in order to (Li) manifest it (Yuz'hira-hu) over (Älaa) every (Kullihi) religion (Ed'Diini), even if (Law') the polytheists (El'Mush'rikuun) dislike it (Kariha).(9:33)

61:10  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), shall (Hal') I direct you (Adullu-kum) to (Älaa) a business (Tijaaratin) that will save you (p) (Tunjii-kum) from (Min') a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabin)?

61:11  Believe (Tu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuuli-hi) and strive (Tujaahiduuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) with (Bi) your wealth (Am'waali-kum) and your souls (Anfusi-kum). That (Zaalika) is better (Khai'run) for you (Lakum), if (In) you should (Kuntum) know (Ta'lamuun). (9:41)

61:12  HE will forgive you (Yag'fir' Lakum) your sins (Zunuuba-kum) and (Wa) admit you (Yud'khil'kum) into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii) together with (Wa) pleasant (Toyyibatan) houses (Masaakina) in (Fii) the gardens (Jannaati) of Eden (Äd'nin); that (Zaalika) is a great (El'Äziim) achievement (El'Faw'zu),

61:13  as well as (Wa) another (Ukh'raa) which you love (Tuhibbuunahaa); victory (Nas'run) from GOD (Minallahi) and a nearby (Qariibun) conquest (Fat'hun), so (Wa) give good news (Basshiri) to the believers (El'Mu'miniin).

61:14  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), be (Kuunuu') supporters of GOD (Ansoara-llahi), as (Kamaa) Jesus (Eesaa), the son (Eb'nu) of Mary (Mar'yama), said (Qaala) to the disciples (Lil' Hawaariyyuuna), "Who (Man') are my supporters (Ansoarii) to GOD (ilaallahi)?" The disciples (El'Hawaatiyyuuna) said (Qaala), "We (Nah'nu) are supporters of GOD (5:14) (Ansoaru-llahi)." And (Fa) a faction (Toa'ifatun) among (Min) the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa’iila) believed (Aamanat) but (Wa) a faction (Toa'ifatun) disbelieved (Kafarat). So (Fa) We supported (Ayyad'naa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') against (Älaa) their enemies (Äduwwi-him’), and (Fa) they became (As'bahu') dominant (Zoahiriin).
